From Sydney Harbour to Surfers Paradise — here’s the route.
The squad arrives in Sydney on Friday, October 30. The first days are for settling in and finding the legs, with a World Cup double header at CommBank Stadium in Parramatta on Sunday, November 1 (Lebanon v France, then Tonga v Samoa) before Game Day 1 on Monday, November 2 at McCredie Park, home of the Guildford Owls Junior Rugby League Club — a triangular against Pasifika Warriors and Sydney Emus, with presentation and dinner at Guildford Leagues Club that evening.
From November 4 the squad is based at Surfers Paradise for twelve days. Game Day 2 is a triangular against QLD and NSW at Owen Park, Southport Tigers Junior Rugby League Club on Saturday, November 7. Game Day 3 is a triangular against Australia and the England Rebels at Tugun Seahawks Junior Rugby League Club on Friday, November 13. Both days finish with presentation and dinner at the host club.
A day trip north from the Gold Coast to Suncorp Stadium for the Rugby League World Cup Finals, with both the Women’s and Men’s finals on the same day. The squad returns to the coast that evening and departs on Monday, November 16.
